PC players might have just gotten their hands on Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-, but the majority of the Guilty Gear community looking forward to the next entry in the Xrd series. -REVELATOR- is coming to the West in June and it’s bringing a little more to the party than you may think.
So I’m going to stop the Street Fighter V apologists right here. Even if you’ve received a platform for all future updates to the latest entry to the series, you still didn’t get much of a game. While the updated release model isn’t ideal on the consumer’s pocket, they’re at least going to get their $60 (well actually less) worth of game.
Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR- is and update that is bringing a lot to the table. From the continuation of Xrd’s intriguing story to additional characters and mechanics, this release is a lot more than just Arc System Works trying to squeeze a little more money out of their loyal fans. I didn’t however expect to see such intense graphical updates come to what was already quite a pretty game.
In HurtboxTV ‘s video above we we can see how much the visuals have changed from -SIGN- to -REVELATOR-. While it does make the game seem a lot busier, one cannot deny that the changes to the lighting and shaders makes the game look incredible. I was excited for -REVELATOR- based on just the updates to the game but now I just can’t wait to gawk at how beautiful it looks.
If you don’t know anything about Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR- you should probably check out the sweet trailer and then wonder why you’ve missed out on one of the most awesome fighting games in recent years.

The best person to offer the worst opinion. Paul's interests include adding 100 hour JRPGs to his backlog and dark walks through dungeons. You'll probably find him rambling on about old man Nintendo or that crazy newfangled eSports thingy.
