Update 3: If you’re from Durban and you’ve won tickets, UIP has graciously offered up an additional set of tickets for each winner. So if you have friends who would like to join you, invite them immediately and have them join you at Gateway this evening!

Also, if you are one of our existing winners, we have confirmation that the event will work on a list-based system. As long as you are on the list, you will have access to the screening this evening.

There is a registration desk in the foyer of each cinema for collection of tickets. The winners names are added to a Guest List and they collect their tickets from the registration desk before the screening tonight.

Winners collect Coke and popcorn at the entrance to the cinema. As the film is in 3D, they will also be given 3D glasses.

When you’re an anime fan it’s not every day that you get to go to a Cinema and watch something you’ve loved for years while setting to share it with others you normally wouldn’t even consider sharing it with, but now you can.

Ghost in the Shell is launching on the 31st of March and we want to offer you, our readers, the chance to win tickets for you and someone else to go and enjoy this once in a lifetime movie experience

Pretoria and JHB readers, you can win tickets to go watch Ghost In the Shell at Mall of Africa at 8pm on the 22nd of March 2017

Durban readers can go to Gateway at 8pm on the 22nd of March 2017

Cape Town readers can go to Cape Gate at 8pm on the 22nd of March 2017

We will be giving away 30, that’s right, 30 tickets PER CINEMA for you and a partner to join us for Ghost in the Shell at one of the above-mentioned theaters.

How To Enter

Leave us a comment down bellow telling us why you think you should be chosen to go watch Ghost in the Shell. Please include the city/cinema you’d like to attend. That’s it. It is really that easy. Entries without cinema/city will not be accepted.

There is only one catch, you need to leave us a comment before Monday 20 March, 12 pm to qualify.

Winners will be announced by later that day.

Rules

• You need to be 13 years or older to enter this competition, as this movie is PG-13.

• This competition is open to South African residents ONLY. No international entries will be accepted.

• You may not enter this competition if you have won a Geek Node competition within the last 3 months. There have been some of you who has tried to enter despite this rule being in effect. Just know that if you do enter you will be disqualified. No offense guys, we are just trying to keep it fair.

• Anyone may enter this competition, there are no restrictions based on job, skin colour, console/pc preference or sexual orientation.

• In addition to this, our usual Terms & Conditions apply.
