With Deadpool’s unrivalled success it is now clear that audiences are hungry for the so called ‘R Rated’ superhero movie and this has prompted the resurrection of Lobo, a less known (but no less popular) character from the rather long list of unused DC characters.

According to The Wrap , Jason Fuchs who wrote the new Wonder Woman movie and Pan in 2015 is rewriting the entire Lobo story for a film adaption. Fans of the intergalactic bounty hunter are besides themselves with joy as Lobo has long been rumoured to have something in the works with nothing being approved or official until now.

As of writing this it is still unclear whether Lobo will be written in as part of the DC Cinematic Universe alongside Man Of Steel & Wonder Woman or if he will have his own standalone origin story…
