We heard a few months ago that a new Star Trek TV series was in the works by CBS and it seems we’ve now received some more content. We not only got the new logo but a teaser trailer.
I for one cannot express in words how happy I am after hearing the original Star Trek music at the end of the trailer.
It’s high time we move away from this alternate universe crap and get back into the Star Trek universe that we actually give a damn about.
It is rumoured that the new series will focus on multiple Captains in multiple era’s but will most notably start with a strong female lead. I for once believe this female lead might be Captain Laforge…yes as in Geordi Laforge’s mom…but this remains speculation on my part and nothing more. We’ll have to wait and see!
This series should be exactly what we need to get Star Trek back on the right track.
Production officially begins later this year in Toronto, Canada with more details to most likely stream in in abundance soon after.
