What It’s About
Jason Sudeikis and Alison Brie star as two romantic failures whose years of serial infidelity and self-sabotage have led them to swear that their relationship will remain strictly platonic. But can love still bloom while you’re sleeping with other people? Writer/director Leslye Headland’s (Bachelorette) sexy romantic comedy co-stars Amanda Peet, Adam Scott, and Natasha Lyonne.

What I Thought
This movie is about screwing…or so you’d think at first. Okay they do screw in it but that’s not what it’s about…okay it kind of is…only not. Uhm. Ok look, don’t watch it with the parents or grandma.
I went in expecting the typical hilarity that Jason Sudeikis has become known for and got exactly what I expected at first until it hit me right in the feels by unexpectedly adding an actual layer of emotion to the characters.
This was surprising and a real fun twist to the film. Unexpected and rather refreshing.
There are the typical outrageous comedy moments, the rude moments and those over the top moments and then suddenly you have it all mixed in with some emotional connection when you least expect it. While the characters themselves are dysfunctional at best when placed together, this is a large part of the film’s charm and you find yourself really caring after getting invested and genuinely want to find out what happens next.
A rom-com at the core, this film is for a fun Friday night at home with your significant other. It should leave you with a few topics to discuss and laugh about long after the film ends.

What Other People Thought
Someone has called this comic raunchfest “When Harry Met Sally with assholes.” – Peter Travers
Sleeping With Other People is very funny (never a sure thing with a rom-com), but more surprising than its laughs are the emotions that sneak up on both the characters and the movie. – Jesse Hassenger
Sleeping With Other People is a film very much in the contemporary rom-com mold, in that there’s very little standing between its two protagonists other than their own worst tendencies. – Sophie Gilbert
This yarn about two former lovers who bump into each other at a sex addiction clinic is entertaining in parts, but not as edgy as it thinks – and no match for the genre greats it is aping. – Peter Bradshaw

Werner is a strange one...he quotes a lot of things...incoherently I might add, also he reviews stuff from time to time. We still don't truly understand what he is or where he came from.
To quote him verbatim:
Make sure they see my twitter handle so I can get hookers and drugs.
