Welcome to Fast and Furious 8 ( Wait…they have made 8 of these?)

After 7 movies of Dom preaching about family, what does he do? Turns his back on them. In a move that’s so bold it takes over a decade of character development, and then takes a big hard dump on it.

Yes, the boys are back and this time they have to face a new enemy… Vin Diesel’s acting.

Ok not really but trust me after 7 movies he still talks like a person who’s unsure on whether he is constipated or had the runs!

With the heart of the franchise lost ( RIP Paul Walker ) watch as they double up the ante and trade tank jokes for submarine jokes.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is back too as one-quarter of the ethnically diverse “bald guy” franchise. ( Or is that 1/3 as technically Statham is semi-bald ). Brace yourself as Dwayne tries to carry this franchise on his back; ‘cause let’s face it – he is the only bankable star left in the “fart and furless” franchise.

So strap in for this year’s fastest movie, as subs chase cars ( because the reality is for sissies ) and we get to see one more cast member run out of gears. ( Seriously they are dropping off like flies- possibly to pay the Rock ).

Or maybe I have this marked all wrong, maybe the Fast franchise is the modernised take on the Highlander – set in a hyper-realistic universe and it will all end in a cataclysmic battle between the Rock and Vin… in the end there can be only Dom.
