The highly anticipated series has finally launched, and it is already gaining huge traction. Whether it is a high score on the aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes ( 95 % ) or fans sites already popping up, there is no doubt that the new series has already cemented its spot as one of the best new shows.

Based on the acclaimed novel by Neil Gaiman, it thrusts lead Shadow Moon play into a world hidden within our mediocre world. Ruled by the once Gods. He is hired by Mr Wednesday, who is in fact the Norse God Odin.

The series is classic Fuller , highly stylised, intense with a heightened attention to detail. Just the way I like it. The Hannibal series creator has a wonderful way with his imagery, by using dusky clattered characters set against strikingly rich backdrops he helps create a more supernatural feel to the series. The camera work is highly vivid and always focuses on more habitual movement. Fuller understands body movement and the heavy influence and undertones they can present on screen. Then throw in some carefully created original score and it will spell award winning.

This review or prelude if you will, has been difficult, but not for the inability to write. The truth is every bone in my body begs to tell you of the first 2 episodes. However, that will rob you of the enjoyment of discovering the wonderful new show and introduction of some highly fascinating characters. Think of the stylised camera work on Legion meets the story telling and characterisation of Game of thrones.
