Hello everyone and welcome back to a new episode of Geek Node Lets Play, this episode is a bit different. I have finalized studio setup so this is the first video that you will see me in, not just audio as we did in The Forest. There are quite a few “What was I thinking moments” but I didn’t edit out any of them. So without any further delay let’s get started.
This is where the enemy titan attacked and I thought I was dead.
This week I played Titan Fall 2 on the PlayStation 4, I bought it last month but due to my schedule have not gotten trough to play it. I never played its predecessor and I will actually get around to it just to see how it was.
The indigenous wildlife is beautiful but deadly.
You start the game running a simulation to help you familiarize yourself with the control system, before you get a chance to enter a titan you are pulled out of the simulator. The ship has been ambushed and is taking heavy fire, you are ejected and immediately thrown into the action.
Your helmet will scan the terrain and show you the best path.
Soon after you are almost stomped to death by an enemy titan, luckily your mentor intervenes and saves you although doing so he is surprised from behind by yet another titan. After you get back on your feet he promotes you to pilot and authorities you to use his titan BT. But before you can get in you need to wall run, double jump and kill some enemies not to mention some bizarre indigenous creatures.
The personal cloak is a great way to confuse the enemy.
This is in a nutshell what I experienced in the first mission of this beautiful game, the world itself was so colorful that found myself looking around in amazement. I found that the controls were very customization from the classic feel of the original that they state in the option screen to settings that allow you to have faster or slower inputs.
I found the wall running to be very easy and at times effortless.
Your titan has a vortex shield that can capture projectiles and redirect them back at enemies.
Needless to say the campaign will keep me busy as I cannot stop playing. So until next time guys enjoy the video and the fail moments in it, until the next episode keep save and game on.
