Welcome to another instalment of let’s play, this week I will be playing Until Dawn: Rush of Blood on the PlayStation 4 and yes you guessed it it’s a VR game. Playable with either the Dual Shock 4 controller or two PlayStation Move controllers the game does not punish you for not having the recommended hardware. Although I must say in my opinion the Move controllers are the best way to play it.

Developed by Supermassive games as a spinoff to the Until Dawn series it was designed from the ground up to be a terrifying fast paced arcade shooter. The player will descend deeper into madness while sitting in a roller coaster, although you can at some arrows that will allow you to take a different path for most of the ride you just need to hold on and survive.

At first, it starts off very innocent, until the madness starts.

As you progress through the game you will have to keep an eye out for collectables that will grant you extra points. Guns are also hidden at times and ammo is scarce, luckily the default pistols have unlimited ammunition but their stopping power can be a little on the weak side. I found that the double-barrelled shotguns did the best job at keeping the baddies at bay.

There are a few jump scares but they are at times predictable, what will get your head spinning is the roller coaster especially when it goes down and the world becomes a blur. You will have to battle your way through seven levels and to get the true ending you will have to complete the game on Psychotic Mode where it only allows you one life. Collectables include clown items and on every level, there is a mystery item that you only have to look at. This will unlock more of the story.

You physically have to avoid obstacles so try not to loose your head.

That’s all from me for this instalment, until next week everyone keep safe. I need to get back and finish Psychotic Mode.

This is where your stomach feels like its turning over.

At the end of each level you get shown how many collectables you found and your stats.

A cute house I wonder who is inside, as if we wanted to know.

I'm 35 obsessed with anything gaming and technology related. Staying in a quiet town does have its drawbacks as we don't have the fastest internet, but that wont stop me from enjoying my passion for gaming. Just a quick shout out to my lovely wife who supports my dreams and my friends and all the crazy moments we have encountered in games.
