Geek Node News: An Introduction to The Girl from Animation

Readers of Geek Node, I present to you, your new animation movie reviewer!

(Picture a tall curly haired girl throwing back a cape for maximum visual impact. I have no reason to be wearing a cape but I feel like it’s fitting in this instance.)

Alright, well if the mental visual fails to impress you then let me offer you this:

For the most part I would have you believe that I am a fictional character who is somehow trapped in the real the world, but as a so-called “real person” I’m a UKZN graduate of Media Studies, who spends most days and nights attempting to find a way back into the world of fictional fantasy. Many, many nights of my life have been lost into an earnest effort at providing for and maintaining my family in the Sims. As a proud (and deceased) great grandmother of a fairly respectable Sim family legacy, I have no regrets. I’m also a sucker for classic literature and film, as well as musicals and animation.

And this is what I’ll be sharing with you! As opposed to wandering and faffing with this and that, here at Geek Node I’ll be reviewing each and every animated film that hits the silver screen, and sharing the motions and… (lotions? No GOD no) emotions of Hollywood’s latest productions.

So here’s to the both of us, you, dear reader, and to me, your enthusiastic new animation movie reviewer – may we both find joy in this here world of Geek Node, and live most geekily, and happily, ever after.
