Geek Fest 2016: Zombie Run – The Woods Have Eyes

Geek Fest HQ has tried and failed to contain the virus ( again! ) and Johannesburg is set to be overrun. That’s why we need all the zombie hunters out there to gear up and go slaughter the undead.

When we tried to contact the guys at Zombie Run South Africa, about why their organisation is so good at creating zombie outbreaks but not so good at containing them, all they could tell us is, how much they loved brains.

So it’s up to us to once again clean up their mess.

But who are Zombie Run South Africa ? A small team of event organisers comprised of Carol, Shane and Michelle, with Dawn of the Dead on makeup.

All hunters should assemble in the woods at Inanda Country Base on the 7th of May. Hunters are warned to not let themselves become the hunted and don’t forget rule #17: do not try be a hero. You never know when you might need your zombie hunter buddy until it’s too late.

To become a part of this elite zombie hunting team sign up on Quicket , pay your R250.00 registration fee and follow the Facebook event to await further instructions. If you want to be a Zombie, the price is slightly cheaper, but of course it includes makeup by Zombie Run SA’s very own Dawn of the Dead (at an additional cost, also purchasable at Quicket).
