Boardgame News: FFG Announces Wrath of the Crusaders for Warhammer 40,000: Conquest

Fantasy Flight Games have announced Wrath of the Crusaders , the fifth “War Pack” in their Planetfall expansion cycle for their Warhammer 40k LCG cardgame. This pack focusses on the Space Marines faction, specifically introducing the Black Templars, with the reveal of their respective Warlord, Chaplain Mavros.

Mavros damages friendly Space Marine units at the same planets to provide them with damage buffs. While this may seem a costly way to gain these buffs, the Black Templars units are specialized in either resisting damage, or gaining additional buffs when they receive any damage. As such as the so it’s a synergy that works really well if your deck primarily focuses on using the Black Templar Space marines.
