Happy new week! Here are all the interesting new announcements I’ve spotted in the last week. Quite a few things to show this time around, including a new Android game from Fantasy Flight games, a new Cthulu themed Pandemic, and a Cyanide and Happiness card game!
New Game Announcements
Fantasy Flight Games have announced a new game set in their Android universe, named Mainframe . Players take the role of hackers, or Runners, and compete against each other to break into the mainframe of a megacorperation and steal as much money as possible. Designed for up to four players, Mainframe is set to release in the second quarter of this year!

Z-Man games have announced Pandemic: Reign of Cthulu , a Lovecraftian themed take on their successful Pandemic franchise. Playing much like Pandemic, the game seems to add many new cards for items and encounters, similar to games such as Arkham Horror or Elder Sign. Here’s the official synopsis:
Beings of ancient evil, known as Old Ones, are threatening to break out of their cosmic prison and awake into the world. Everything you know and love could be destroyed by chaos and madness. Can you and your fellow investigators manage to find and seal every portal in time? Hurry before you lose yourself to insanity.
In Pandemic: Reign of Cthulhu , you’ll experience the classic Pandemic gameplay with an horrific twist that’ll have you face ten Old Ones, each threatening the world with their unique powers. Rio Grande Games have announced yet another expansion for Dominion , titled Dominion: Empires .
Here’s the thematic overview:

The world is big and your kingdom gigantic. It’s no longer a kingdom really; it’s an empire — which makes you the emperor. This entitles you to a better chair, plus you can name a salad after yourself.
It’s not easy being emperor. The day starts early, when you light the sacred flame; then it’s hours of committee meetings, trying to establish exactly why the sacred flame keeps going out. Sometimes your armies take over a continent and you just have no idea where to put it. And there’s the risk of assassination; you have a food taster, who tastes anything before you eat it, and a dagger tester, who gets stabbed by anything before it stabs you. You’ve taken to staying at home whenever it’s the Ides of anything. Still, overall it’s a great job. You wouldn’t trade it for the world — especially given how much of the world you already have.
Dominion: Empires, the tenth addition to the game of Dominion, contains 96 metal tokens and 300 cards, with cards you can buy now and pay for later, piles with two different cards, and Landmarks that add new ways to score. VP tokens and Events return from previous sets. IELLO has revealed an expansion to King of New York , named King of New York: Power Up , that adds evolution cards in the same way the Power Up expansion for King of Tokyo had. Further more, each monster is getting two sets of evolution cards – one designed for the monster being played in King of Tokyo , and the other for when played in King of New York .
Spyfall 2 has been announced, introducing a second spy, 20 more locations, and upping the max player count to 12. It’s looking to be released at the end of the year earliest for everywhere outside of Russia.
