Video Game News: Check out Pinstripe, a lovely and well drawn trip into Hell

Well, that title didn’t work out quite like I thought. Anyway, Pinstripe is a game made by just one man who has done all of the programming, art and music for the game and based on early images, it looks fantastic. The game features a distinct art-style and follows a father through his trip to Hell to find his daughter. It is a 2D adventure game that shares some striking similarities to games such as Broken Age.

The game needs to be funded through Kickstarter since Thomas Brush, the creator, cannot release it otherwise. He has worked on the game for over 4 years in his spare time even while holding a full-time job and being married.

Usually Kickstarter games are a dime a dozen, but this one feels like it has something to it. It feels intimate and passionate and having a really fascinating premise that made me look up and pay attention. I’m personally all for a trip to Hell, I hear it’s lovely this time of the year. Maybe say hello to Hitler while I’m there.

The game is already funded in the two days that it has been up, but you can head over to the Kickstarter page and check it out and maybe even consider pledging.
