Video Game News: Whoops, Uncharted 4 Has Broken Street Date Already

Uncharted 4 is due for release on the 10th of May and every Sony fanboy is hugging their Nathan Drake body pillows in anticipation for the game. Only a few weeks away and we get to play Drake’s final and beautiful adventure. But it seems some people have the pleasure of doing it right now.

There are scattered reports all over that suggest that the game was sent out before its May 10th release date and people have been playing already. Retailer CEX in the UK as well as Amazon are accused of doing this.

So why could this happen? Well, one of the game’s original release dates was, you guessed it, the 26th of April. That’s today, in case you forgot what timeline you’re on. So that means the retailers didn’t get the memo or didn’t update their info to reflect the new release date.

The people that have been playing it say that the multiplayer doesn’t work, for obvious reasons, trophies won’t sync and one player says the game “runs fine”. This was a pretty big mistake on the behalf of retailers because you know what’s going to happen now? Spoilers, everywhere. People are also punting the game on eBay and other auction sites at ridiculous prices. There will probably also be gameplay leaks and all that stuff coming up in the next two weeks when the game is supposed to release.

So, as a PSA, be aware of any Uncharted 4 related content coming out in the next few weeks. You might have the experience tainted for you if you’re not vigilant.
