Video Game Trailers: Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare Officially Revealed, Includes A Remade Old Classic

The Call of Duty franchise has gone through a weird period in recent years. Since it is a yearly franchise with multiple studios working on it, there’s been a lot of cries of the franchise becoming stale and uninteresting. The outcry was obviously not without merit since through the years, Call of Duty has never really shaken up the core formula of the game, but instead focused on bringing more and more high octane action into the mix. The games got bigger and bolder, but the core of it never really changed. The multiplayer still remained the game’s primary mode that they put in front of the marquee and is the reason people come back for more each year.

This year it is Infinity Ward’s turn to give us a Call of Duty and they decided to go big, it looks like. The game is called Infinity Warfare and it seems we are now going to space, boys. The trailer features a David Bowie song (I think you can guess which one) and we see our character hop into a space-fighter and enter the vast vacuum of space. There’s also this mysterious new enemy which (un)fortunately aren’t aliens that seems like one of the most powerful enemies we have seen in Call of Duty history.

The trailer shows a lot, from space fights, on the ground combat to space craft warfare. Don’t let me tell you, it’s right up there for you to watch.

At the end of the trailer, we got a little bit of a treat. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is receiving the remastered treatment, bringing the aged game’s visuals on par with the current generation. Unfortunately for the moment, it seems the only way you can get it is if you pre-order the Call of Duty Legacy Edition that includes Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered for $80. I trust that this is just a timed thing and we can buy the remaster separate after the game is released.

They also dropped the release day for it: 4th of November 2016.
