Golf and me have never really gelled. I understand the appeal, but it’s a pretty boring sport, all things considered. I’ve played one golf game in my life for a hot minute and during the bouts of not knowing what the hell I was doing, I never really enjoyed it. Mini-golf on the other hand is rip roaring good time both in real life and in the digital space. It’s more compact and fast, making it fun. But I never really imagined golf quite like this.

Coming to us from the former devs that designed Burnout, the car crashing simulator, we now have Dangerous Golf. The above trailer shows us what we would expect from the game where you’re placed inside a room filled with destructible objects and teeing a golf ball so hard that it wrecks everything. I can get behind this.

The trailer takes place in a kitchen and the resulting destruction looks both gratifying and fun. Of course, this is only one of many potential environments in the game and I think some really funny hijinks can come from this game.

Dangerous Golf releases in June on PS4, Xbox One and PC
