System Shock has been a major influence to a lot of hallmark titles in gaming history. You know BioShock? Yeah, System Shock was the inspiration. The games released in the 90s with spartan graphics, but it was still incredibly innovative for the time. Now, I for one would be totally down to experience the original game, but I can’t get over those graphics. Enter System Shock Remastered.
We’ve known about this for a while, but developer Night Dive Studios have now announced that they will be going to Kickstarter on the 29th of June with the title. It’s unclear why they need the Kickstarter since there’s no details on goals, rewards and whatever, but I firmly believe that this will be a successful campaign. Hopefully they don’t pull a Shenmue 3 and ask 10 million dollars, but I’m sure it will be fine.
