Video Game News: Leaks Suggest Titanfall 2 Will Have Grappling Hooks

In today’s LeakWatch, we have a budding reddit user who posted “confidential” information about the upcoming robot shooter, Titanfall 2. The user suggested he had some trusty sources that suggested the game will get grappling hooks that allow “getting into your Titan, aiding free-running, or tactical plays such as pulling enemies while they’re midair.” So basically you can be Scorpion and Batman in space armour. Dreams come true.

He also released this concept art:

Not much in the art itself except some further shots of the environments we will come to expect as well as a Titan possibly wall-running.

The user also hinted at an October release date for the game.

Of course, all of this is wild speculation coming from one slightly unreliable source so don’t take it as gospel. However, a grappling hook does sound pretty plausible within the context of this game since pilots need to move great distances to get to their robots and such. We’ll have to wait and see.
