Well, it seems that gaming is going progressively more into the visual realm. Quantum Break did its take on a TV show/gaming hybrid and it succeeded in that experiment. But now we might get a fully fledged TV show with Mirror’s Edge as the topic in question. The parkour themed runner is getting a TV show made by Endemol Shine Studios who are responsible for The Biggest Loser and MasterChef.

As dope as a Mirror’s Edge cooking show sounds, the show will have a more traditional narrative that focuses on Faith who has to rescue her sister who has been framed for a murder as well as doing her whole thieving shtick.

“We clearly see Mirror’s Edge as a franchise for the global TV audience,” said president of Endemol Shine Studios, Sharon Hall. “It has a strong female protagonist, a wildly rabid fan base and a worldwide brand that Electronic Arts and EA DICE have done an amazing job establishing.”

I’m I excited? More like skeptical, but we’ll see what might transpire from this endeavor.
