E3 2016: Bethesda Might Have "Accidentally" Shown A New Wolfenstein Game

Oh you eagle eyed vagabonds of the internet, you guys are doing the lord’s work. Bethesda’s conference started out with a stylish intro that used a spoof DOS command prompt and for a brief second we got a glimpse of some titles. There was the expected batch of Bethesda’s releases, but there was also something that was not like the other.

As you can see there’s a game within the Wolfenstein group titled New Colossus, and it doesn’t have a release date like the other titles. Could this be a not so subtle hint that there is something out there for Wolfenstein fans? New Order was a great success and personally one of my favourite shooters of 2014 so I’m totally down with a sequel. But the other possibility is that there is another smaller standalone game like Old Blood, but the timeline is a bit too long for that considering it has been a couple of years.

This probably wasn’t accidental and Bethesda’s strategy was probably to get stupid game blogs to run a story on this and drum up some hype. It’s a good thing we’re not a stupid game blog reporting on this right?

Right.
