Video Game News: Dead Rising 4 Won't Be An Exclusive For Too Long

The crazy and eccentric zombie slaying game, Dead Rising has always been a big exclusive for Microsoft. The first one was one of the first pure console exclusives for the Xbox 360, but the games soon ended up on PC too. With the announcement of Dead Rising 4, we expected this trend to continue with it being an Xbox One and Windows 10 exclusive. However, this isn’t the case.

Dead Rising 4 will be exclusive to Windows 10 for 90 days and exclusive to Xbox One for a year. This means that there is a possibility that it will appear on the PS4 sometime in the future. The same happened to Rise of the Tomb Raider, which was a timed exclusive and is set to release on PS4 sometime this year.

I’m curious to know what happened to break this exclusivity deal with Capcom, but for those of you that hoped to dress up in a tutu and slay zombies with a massive teddy bear on the PS4 need not give up hope too early.
