The Netflix original series Jessica Jones, starring Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones), Mike Colter (Luke Cage), and David Tennant (The Purple Man) has just gotten it’s first teaser trailer.
The series synopsis found on Amazon:
“Ever since her short-lived stint as a Super Hero ended in tragedy, Jessica Jones has been rebuilding her personal life and career as a hot-tempered, sardonic, badass private detective in Hell’s Kitchen, New York City. Plagued by self-loathing, and a wicked case of PTSD, Jessica battles demons from within and without, using her extraordinary abilities as an unlikely champion for those in need… especially if they’re willing to cut her a check.”
Being a bit of a Whovian I’m quite excited to see David Tennant as the series villain Zebediah Killgrave A.K.A. Purple Man. In the comics, Killgrave becomes Purple Man after an accident drenches him with a nerve gas, dying his skin purple and giving him the superhuman ability to command the wills of other people.
“Jessica Jones” arrives on Netflix on November 20.
