If you’ve missed out on this one, shame on you. Elite: Dangerous, which has been in open beta for the past few months, is finally set to get a full release.

This does naturally mean that any ships or materials you have collected will not be transferred across, but developers Frontier Developments have offered a refund (in in-game currency) to all beta-adopters to the value of their in-game items.

So yes, you have to start again, but at least you’ll have a nice cash injection which you can spend on that perfect ship to dock in 45 minutes or less.

In addition to the above, Frontier Developments have also confirmed Exclusive Content to early adopters.

Elite: Dangerous will be fully launching (at an albeit higher price than its current R269) in October, 2015.
