Video Game News: Age of Mythology Getting Expansion Pack 13 Years After Release

It seems old games getting new expansions is becoming a popular trend these days. Just the other day Postal 2 got an Expansion in the form of Postal 2: Paradise Lost, which essentially rendered Postal 3 non-canon. In Age of Mythology’s case however, it seems Forgotten Realms and SkyBox Labs have, after the successful Official Expansion for Age of Empires 2 HD (titled Age of Empires 2 HD: The Forgotten ), decided to bring out another Expansion for the other popular Age of title.

Age of Mythology will receive an Expansion, titled Tale of the Dragon , which will of course add the Chinese to the pool, bolstering the already bursting at the seams RTS title to epic proportions.

Growing up I was a huge RTS fan and Age of Mythology was right up there amongst my favourites. No release date has been given for Tale of the Dragon but it seems they are quite far into the development process so expect an announcement soon.
