Events: Geek Node will be at GeekFest (with various activities lined up)

So I’m pretty sure you guys know by now the Geek Fest is happening this May in Johannesburg, right? If not, where have you been ? Well for those of you who will be attending we have some fantastic news to share.

Geek Node can confirm today that not only will we be there, reporting on the madness, but we will also have several activities going which you guys can participate in. They will be as follows:

Geek Node Stall: Geek Node will be at Stall No. 7 on the day. What will we be doing there? Well that’s a surprise right now, but we can confirm that it will involve a meet and greet with you guys with (most of) the team being present on the day.

Here’s who has so far confirmed that they will be at Geek Fest (and our stall):

PikeyZA has confirmed that he will be in attendance to shower you all with his love and inappropriate fondling.

Desolation Morris is still on the fence, and apparently its getting a bit sore, but he has indicated that he will try his best to grace us with his presence, so be on the look our for our Assistant-Editor in Chief while he skulks the grounds of Huddle Park.

MG Thabo Our brand new addition to the team has indicated that he will indeed be there to grace us with his Thaboliciousness.

NiteFenix Yes, I will indeed be there to grace you all with my obnoxious (yet lovable) presence.

Pyro will be there to (try not) to set things on fire. We’re gonna keep a close eye on you dude!

Pro Evolution Soccer Tournament: This one is still in early stages of organising, but we can confirm that it will in fact be happening at Geek Fest this year.

Mortal Kombat X Tournament: As with the PES tournament above, this is still in early stages, but we will pretty much act as sponsors in this one. The Johannesburg Fighting Game Community will be putting this one together with our support.

Top Secret Project: This is a big one and, unfortunately will be kept under wraps until we are ready to announce it but watch this space as details will be coming soon!

Top Secret Project 2: Yep we have 2 of these babies rattling around. Again as with the one above we will give you more details as and when everything is finalised.
