Events: Free Comic Book Day 2016

Who likes comic books? I know I do! Metal Pangolin definitely does. And I’m sure there are tons of you Nodians out there that do too. For those of you, however that would like to get into it, but haven’t had the time (or finances) to do so, 7 May, may just be your retribution.

There will be several comic book shops in South Africa running their own variation of Free Comic Book day on the 7th of May. We have compiled a list for you guys, which we will update in the time between now and FCBD which will help you to find the closest comic book retailer to you that is holding a FCBD event.

This list is being put together by myself and Metal Pangolin and he will of course be on the ground in Gauteng checking out one of the comic book stores and provide you guys some coverage on what went down.

GAUTENG

They will be handing out free comic books at their store located on Lynwood road. Outerlimits Pta will also be present at Icon 2016

WESTERN CAPE

Reader’s Den , Shop G19, Stadium on Main (opposite Cavendish Square), Main Road, Claremont

They will be handing out 1000 free comic books at Capetown FanCon 2016.

Outer Limits Cape Town, Room 605, Boland Bank Building 18 Lower Burg Street (Cnr Riebeeck Street), Cape Town\

FanCon will be held at the same weekend as FCBD so they will be handing out comic books at the store while they will also have a stall at Capetown FanCon
