Events: International Board Games Day

Mark this on your calendars Table Top Geeks! Saturday 30 April is International Board Games Day and to celebrate one of our local allies in the Board Gaming world, Timeless Board Games will be celebrating in fashion.

After recently moving their board game day venue to Jeppe Quandum, they have just grown phenomenally.

Join us on International TableTop Day as we indulge in over 200 demo board games! This one is not to be missed : –

To celebrate the day:

– We are opening a further 30+ games (will continuously update the list below) to take our total demo count over 200.

– Giving away tons of prize draws totallying over R6000!! (Including the long awaited hyped STAR WARS REBELLION board game valued at R1900.)

– All entrants will receive a voucher to spend on our store at the venue.

– Take part in the silent auction to get bargains on old demos and shop soiled stock.

– We have partnered with HashTag Escape to bring you their pop-up room. (Can you and your team defuse the bomb?)

– Complimentary snacks will be served.

Doors open at 10am.

The entrance fee is R80 for the entire day

New-comers and experienced board gamers welcome. Join other gamers or stick to your own group

Over 200 board games will be on display for you to play from ranging from the classic must-haves to the latest heavy releases. You are more than welcome to bring your own games.

Use our “player” flag if you are looking for a player to join you in a game or use the “teacher” flag if you want someone to help teach you the rules. Otherwise you can put both flags up to find someone who wants to play and does not mind teaching.

A bar and resturant will be open the entire day.

No food or drinks other than those purchased at the bar will be allowed into the venue.
