Movie News: Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets Official Teaser Poster Revealed At Comic Con

French Sci-Fi Comic Book, Valérian and Laureline is getting a film adaptation. Yep, and the first official teaser poster for the upcoming sci-fi epic was revealed at the recent comic con.

For those of you who don’t know what Valerian is, it’s a French science fiction comics series, created by writer Pierre Christin and artist Jean-Claude Mézières. The story follows the action-packed adventures of Valerian and Laureline in which they travel through time and space to great effect.

The film is being directed by Luc Besson ( The 5th Element ) and will star Dane DeHaan ( The Amazing Spiderman 2 ), Cara Delevine ( Suicide Squad ), Rihanna ( That Musician – Not a movie title, just sayin’ ) and Clive Owen ( Sin City ). Other stars appearing in the film will be Ethan Hawke ( Sinister) , Sam Spruell ( Snow White & The Huntsman) and John Goodman ( Ratchet & Clank) .
