Event: Central City Officially Opens It's Doors

For our regular readers this bit of news will be quite exciting. As of today, 1 March, there’s a new kid on the block when it comes to a retail store for you comic books and pop culture lovers out there.

We recently learned that Lee Hermann, author of such wonderful books as The South African Zombie Apocalypse Guide, Journal of a South African Zombie Apocalypse and Zombie ZA (Review coming soon), will today open the doors with his newest venture. Central City Comics. A clever play on the name of the city The Flash calls his home (we here at Geek Node approve!).

The blurb on their website describes them as:

Who doesn’t love a story of dreams coming true?

Central City Comics was the dream of two guys who loved their comics, movies, toys, gadgets, zombies, sci-fi epics, costumes and general geekery. It was either become superheroes or open a comics and pop culture superstore. They went with the latter and established their own Fortress of Solitude, Batcave and Millennium Falcone rolled into one – welcome to Central City Comics.

Central City Comics is the ultimate comics and pop culture superstore that stocks all the latest comics, figurines, toys, apparel and other fine geek-related merchandise. Embracing our inner superhero we provide a wide selection of merchandise supported by friendly staff, great service and the ability to source whatever your inner hero desires.
