Movie News: Kingsman 2 has been confirmed

In January 2015 the amazing spy film Kingsman: The Secret Service left me speechless. Directed by Matthew Vaughn and based on the comic book created by Dave Gibbons and Mark Millar the movie became a surprise success for 20th Century Fox. The Movie grossed US$128m in America and a further US$285m internationally.

It comes as no surprise after the great success that a sequel to this epic movie has been announced with Mathew Vaugn thinking of directing it himself. 20th Century Fox has set a 16th of June 2017 USA release date for the Spy Comedy that will likely see the return of Taron Egerton as a fully-trained secret agent. There is no further mention as to who else will return from the first movie (if you’ve seen the 1st movie you will understand why). For the die hard fans it would be interesting to see how close they will stick to the comic. In my opinion as someone who hasn’t read the comic books I hope it is a Kick-Ass movie!
