The guys at Cooler Master are no stranger to innovation, with a track record of exceptional ideas delivered in the highest quality, consumers have been spoiled by them since inception. They gave us the colossus Stacker and HAF cases, the gorgeous COSMOS II revolutionising not only case building but visual appeal. Even then they have never shied away from cutting-edge peripherals, brandishing E-Sport legends with their fantastic Sentinel gaming mice and Quick Fire Keyboards and not to forget their reputable CM Storm Headsets.
Everything designed with their consumers in mind.
When at their pre-rAge roadshow, it came to no surprise that their focus had only grown stronger. As every single new piece of tech unveiled was a master piece developed specifically for gamers and modders in mind.
Introducing a new series of fully Modular cases in their latest Master Case collection, advocating a new approach to Computer chassis’ in this era of continues innovation leading to constant change in our PC builds. Be it due to newer and better tech landing or our personal needs changing, the Master Case collection is adaptable and fully customizable to support your direction without you ever needing to buy a replacement case.
Appealing to all form factors, the Master Cases come in 3 sizes. The Master Case 3 a Micro-ATX chassis, the Master Case 5 supporting the standard ATX form factor as a Mid-Tower and introducing the soon gargantuan Master Case 7 for the all your Full-Tower needs! All not only supporting the Cooler Master FreeForm™ Modular system within themselves, but across all tower sizes. HDD bays used in a Master Case 3 can easily be reused in a Master Case 7.
Along with the Master Case collection comes a series of case components in the form of the afore mentioned Hard drive Bays, Universal VGA Holders to support the latest GPU’s in reducing GPU-Sag and even cooling brackets to better support your air-cooling or liquid-cooling direction.
Speaking of cooling, Cooler Master didn’t stop at cases and are unleashing a serious array of new cooling solutions that appeal to Air and Liquid fans alike! For the Air Cooling fan, they’re introducing the dynamic and highly customisable MasterAir Maker 8 – A dynamic beast using 3D Vapor Chamber technology for not only better, but more efficient cooling with adjustable fan brackets allowing you not only to switch between 120mm and 140mm fans for better flow or a change of colour but it allows you to adjust fan height to compensate for RAM modules headspace which would usually have your looking for alternative solutions. That’s not all that can be customised though, the actual top cover of the cooler in interchangeable and CM have even released the 3D printer files for the plate allowing you to print whatever design you desire!
Not stopping there, Cooler Master have taken as much precision in liquid cooling innovation as they have air in the form of their latest MasterLiquid Pro Series. From square fin patterns on the radiators reducing not only air turbulence on the metal edges but increasing overall flow, to their remarkable Dual Chamber Cooler pump, that separates the hot liquid from the cold while housing the vital components with the cooler liquid to increase component lifespan.
Leaving the best for last, Cooler Master introduced the MasterLiquid Maker 92, a compact cooling solution that makes you wonder why it hasn’t been done before. Marrying both perfected air cooling technology and ground-breaking liquid cooling technology, the MLM-92 is a liquid cooling solution for Micro-ATX and compact chassis modder looking for not only great cooling but sensible aesthetics. The model currently only supports Intel CPU’s.
Following the Master Trend we also got a peak at the future of Cooler Master Power Supplies, with a 7-Year warranty and an 80+ Titanium grade rating, the MasterWatt Maker PSU’s boast world-class efficiency with silent performance. A fully modular design supporting high-capacity cables with plug connectors with surface contact efficient enough to carry 1.5x the currnt of normal connectors, this is a serious PSU line.
Last, but not least we got to see the Master range of peripherals. The MasterMouse is an ambidextrous mouse with a fully customisable skeleton allowing you to adapt your mouse to your grip – be it a claw or palm grip. 12000 DPI Avago PMW3360 Optical sensors will be tracking your every move, no matter how subtle for pinpoint accuracy, while it’s full array of 16.7 Billion RBG illumination will keep your mouse reflecting your style every step of the way.
The MasterKey keyboards sporting Cherry MX keys and larger LED’s than you’ve ever seen for brilliant illumination and appeal. Fantastic anti-ghosting tech allowing N-Key and upto 6 key rollover having you rest easy in even the most frantic times!
And in ending, my favourite Cooler Master division – Audio. Following up on the greatness of the CM Storm Sirus true 5.1 headset, Cooler Master are opting in for 2 44mm Drivers in a sexy, comfortable set which is VR headset ready. The MasterPulse headsets have a hidden microphone and analog four pole, their trademark Bass FX audio enhancements for true kick while gaming and a clean, professional look with anti-tangle cable. When not gaming the headset can support all 3.56mm jack devices supporting 4 pole jacks allowing for endless integration with your different devices.
