What I thought

The CGI is impeccable and feels real within the movie. The character of each giant is effectively portrayed and gives a unique feel to each of the magical beings. The different attitudes are visualized in great detail beyond what even I imagined. Sophie’s interactions with this magical new world is believable and endearing. Without going back and rereading the book specifically looking for faults I wouldn’t be able to give any. The world of dreams and nightmares came straight out of my mind and hit the screen with amazing clarity and catching them is once again something I want to be able to do

As a person who grew up reading Roald Dahl, seeing the movies being made has really warmed my heart. Childhood memories created by imagination brought to life has to be one of the best feelings, if it isn't completely messed up that is. Luckily for us, The BFG is pulled off beautifully. What I thought The CGI is impeccable and feels real within the movie. The character of each giant is effectively portrayed and gives a unique feel to each of the magical beings. The different attitudes are visualized in great detail beyond what even I imagined. Sophie's interactions with this magical new world is believable and endearing. Without going back and rereading the book specifically looking for faults I wouldn't be able to give any.
