If you are anything like me you will probably be in the same scenario that I am, namely having far to many terabytes of games available for me in my Steam library to fit on any one of my hard drives. Or you might want some games to be on a Solid State Hard drive and some on an older mechanical HDD, or USB3 attached drive or perhaps on Network Attached Storage for those indie game bundles?

There are the ‘official’ steam way to move games around, but that is painful and archaic to be honest, so a guy named Scribbles has created a wonderful application with a very user friendly GUI (drag and drop) to help you optimize the best use of your storage.

I recommend you have a look at his Greenlight effort or jump directly to his Github page .

Ok so now that you have spread your Steam Library across all the HDD’s you want, your OCD might kick in and you may want to sort your games according to type, etc.

Warning OCD trigger image below.

Madness! But fear not we can use Depressurizer to sort the games into all the neat categories you might ever need!

You can subscribe to the user driven categories to help you get a quick handle on the situation and then fine tune your library to your hearts content!

And there you have it. Two free applications that will satisfy even the most OCD Steam user!

When I asked my mom where I was from she said they caught a wild ape and shaved it… she weren’t joking.

This primate has an unhealthy obsession with all things tech and pc gaming and when not in front of his Battlestation he can be found roaming the Cape wildlands with his motorcycle.
